After an impressive win on La Voix (TVA) in 2013, Valérie Carpentier launches her first album, L’été des orages, during the same year. The album achieves a gold certification only a few months after hitting the stores. The 50 cities tour that follows in 2015 gives her the occasion to meet a public the was already won over by titles such as À fleur de peau, Notre Amour et L’été des orages. The video for the song Le rendez-vous, produced by Chloé Robichaud (nominated at the 2013 Cannes Festival for her movie Sarah préfère la course), has generated over 400 000 views on YouTube. This song also enjoyed great popularity on most commercial radios. With her 3rd album, Valérie Carpentier reveals another side of herself with songs in the electro-pop genre combined with profound lyrics. Produced by the illustrious Jean Massicotte (Jean Leloup, Pierre Lapointe, etc.), Pour Rosie is the album of maturity for Valérie Carpentier who performs a real "tour de force" by writing and composing most of the songs included. With a few english titles, some covers and many irresistible songs, this albums allows us to appreciate a voice that is altogether soft, enveloping, and filled with self-assurance.
