Biography

Richard Séguin (born on March 27, 1952 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Québec) is a Canadian author, composer and singer. His music career began in the 1970s with the duo "Les Séguin", with his twin sister Marie-Claire. He has had a solo career since 1977, and "Protest Song", "Aux portes du matin", "Journée d'Amérique" are some of his biggest releases. Séguin has received several prizes, including Felix Awards from Quebec music industry association ADISQ. Some of his albums were declared platinum (sales of over 100 000 units) by the Canadian Recording Industry Association.
