Mario Pelchat (born 1 February 1964 in Dolbeau, Quebec) is a French singer from Quebec, Canada, set foot on stage for the very first time in 1973 and, since then, devoted his life to singing. Through the years, Mario Pelchat has earned notable recognition such as Male Singer of The Year, Album and Show of The Year, as well as many Golden and Platinum Records. In 2011, Mario Pelchat will be celebrating 30 years of success, both on stage and disc. Mario Pelchat recorded his first 45 (7 inch) on September 1981. The following year, he launched his first album, which placed him amongst the leading signers of this generation. Many successful albums followed like “Je suis un chanteur” or “Tu m’as fait mal” .
