Marie-Chantal Toupin (born July 14, 1971 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian singer. She was a 2004 Juno Award nominee for Francophone Album of the Year. Toupin has sold over 300,000 albums in Canada, and has had two albums certified platinum. She released 4 album, the fisrt called "Après tous". The second one that came out in 2000 confirm her status of Rock Artist. This album was very succesful, especially the songs « J'veux que tu saches », « Comment j'pourrais te l'dire » and « À l'abri ». In 2003 she amazes her audience with the album « Maudit bordel ». The song with the same title written by Pier Béland, was to date her biggest hit. in 2008 the singer releases her 4th album «À Distance».
