Biography

Marcel Martel started performing at a very early age. He learned to play the accordion and the guitar and made his debut in 1940, by performing songs of Roland Lebrun, Tino Rossi or American singers. His songs "Charme hawaïen", "Hello Central", "Dans ma prairie", "Loin de toi, chérie", "Valser dans tes bras" or "Un coin du ciel" made him one of the biggest country singer in Quebec.
