Biography

The '60s Québec music scene was split between the yeye and the chansonnier movements, and some artists at that time were able to split their creations between the two. Les Bel Canto was one of those artists able to integrate lyrics by Vigneault, Ferland and Létourneau in dance tunes. Formed in Québec they became popular with song originally performed by Gilbert Bécaud, Everly Brothers and Charles Aznavour. In 1965, they release the song "Découragé".
