Jean-Yves Béland (1944-1997), better known as Johnny Farago is a quebecois singer, Canada, former member of the band Les Mercedes, which he left in 1964 in order to start a solo career. He became popular in the mid '60s due to the French versions of American hits. An huge admirer of Elvis Presley, he spends most of his career imitating and singing Elvis' songs.
