Fernand Gignac (born 23 mach 1934, in Montréal - dead 18 august 2006, in Montréal) wans a singer, comedian and artist from Québec). He was known as a "crooner" and he was one of the most popular quebecois singers. During the 50 years of his career he released: 31 albums and 75 singles, holding a record as a Canadian artist. Fernand Gignac performed in thousands of shows, sold 6 million albums and his songs like the romantic "Donnez-moi des roses", "N'oublie jamais" and "Le temps qu'il nous reste" have become part of the quebecois cultural patromony.
