Born Dino Paul Crocetti in Steubenville, Ohio to Italian immigrant parents on June 7th, 1917, Dean Martin was an American singer, actor, tv star and comedian. He was the younger of 2. He was a member of the Brat Pack along with good friend Frank Sinatra. Among his most famous hits are “That’s Amore”, “Volare” and “Sway”. He performed on stage, television and in films. Martin was a lifelong smoker and was diagnosed in 1993 with lung cancer. He died on Christmas morning at his home due to complications from emphysema.
