Biography

CLAUDE LÉVEILLÉE His legacy to the Quebec music scene is composed of more than 400 songs, numerous instrumental pieces and a few musicals. After meeting Édith Piaf in 1959, he writes and composes many songs for her (such as Les Vieux pianos, Ouragan, Boulevard du crime). He toured in France and in the Soviet Union (USSR), as well as Belgium, Switzerland and even Japan. He also had an acting career (namely in La Ligne de démarcation, in 1966, and on the TV program Scoop from 1991 to 1994).
