Chad Robert Kroeger (born on November 15, 1974) is the lead vocalist and co-lead guitarist for the band Nickelback. Chad Kroeger has an older half-brother named Mike Kroeger, who is Nickelback's bassist. In addition to his work with Nickelback, Kroeger has been involved with a variety of collaborations, co-writing songs for other artists and for films. Chad Kroeger, along with Saliva vocalist Josey Scott, Theory of a Deadman lead vocalist (serving as guitarist for this track) Tyler Connolly and Our Lady Peace drummer Jeremy Taggart, performed the theme song titled "Hero" for the hit movie Spider-Man in 2002. "Hero" became 4× Platinum in the U.S. and 8× Platinum in Canada.
