Biography

Réginald Charles Gagnon, known as Cayouche (born 1948), is an Acadian singer-songwriter of Acadian French country music. He was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on the eastern coast of Canada. He started his career as a musician in various community centers of northern New Brunswick. He sells more than 90.000 albums, which makes him the most succesful Acadian artist. He releases 5 albums: Inédit, Un Vieux Hippy, Moitié-moitié, Roule, roule, Last Call. Some of his hits are: La reine du bingo, La chaîne de mon tracteur, L'alcool au volant
