Big and Rich is an American musical duo in country music consists of singer-songwriters Big Kenny and John Rich . Their first performance together is in 1998. After writing several songs for other country artists the duo signed his first album on Warner Bros. Records in 2003.
This first album, Horse of a Different Color, released in May 2004. In all, the album classed 4 titles on Top 40 country hits including the song "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)", and collaborations with Cowboy Troy , Gretchen Wilson and Martina McBride . Comin 'to Your City, released in November 2005 . Collaboration among this second album, Cowboy Troy, Wilson, and Kris Kristofferson . The third studio album, Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace, allowed the duo to get their first hit reaching the top spot with the ballad "Lost in This Moment". The duo also tried in styles farther from the country in collaboration with John Legend , Wyclef Jean , Lil Jon , and Bon Jovi . After this album, the members set out towards solo careers. Released the album Rich Son of a Preacher Man in March 2009, Kenny released his first solo single, "Long After I'm Gone." The group released their debut album Greatest Hits compilation in September 2009.
