Annie Villeneuve is a francophone pop singer from Quebec who rose to fame on the 2003 season of #Star Académie and embarked on a solo recording career thereafter. Born on May 5, 1983, in Jonqui?re, Canada, she appeared as a contestant on #Star Académie in 2003 during the reality show's first season. She finished in fifth place, losing to first-place winner Wilfred Le Bouthillier, and was offered a recording contract with the Les Disques Musicor label.
