Alexandra Imelda Cecilia Ewen Burke, known as Alexandra Burke (born August 25, 1988 in Islington, London) is a British singer of pop music and R'n'B. She was propelled to the top with the fifth edition of The X Factor. The first song by Alexandra Burke is the resumption of ‘’Hallelujah’’ by Leonard Cohen, which for her is a song that helped her win this competition because she comes from a very Christian family. As of today, Alexandra has released only one album called ''Overcome.''
