The Temptations est un groupe de doo-wop, soul, rock psychédélique, funk, disco et R&B américain fondé en 1960 et signé par Motown. Les membres originaux sont Otis Williams, Dennis Edwards, David Ruffin, Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, Melvin "Blue" Franklin. Les plus importants succès: "My Girl", "Ain't Too Proud to Beg", "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone", "I Wish It Would Rain", "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me", "I Can't Get Next to You", "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)"
